Attorney Bios

Howard Kanner

Howard Kanner is a co-founding partner at the Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga. Howard is a driven plaintiff’s lawyer who has collected in excess of one hundred million ($100,000,000.00) dollars in compensation on behalf of his clients, including a million dollar settlement prior to turning 30 years old. His area of expertise include Motor Vehicle Accidents, Bicycle and Pedestrian Accidents, Premises Liability, Slip and Fall Accidents, ‘Bad Faith’ Insurance Law, and Wrongful Death. Howard graduated from Florida State University, Cum Laude, where he was on the Dean’s List each and every semester in attendance and was also a member of The National Honors Society. Howard received his Juris Doctorate from Vermont Law School in 2001, and he served as Treasurer for the school. While in law school, he showed a true passion for legal negotiation and dispute resolution, and he was selected to compete in the school Moot Court Competition and school Negotiation Competition. Additionally, Howard was an appointed mediator in the state of Vermont, where he successfully settled numerous civil cases and counseled county judges on legal issues of cases. Howard is presently a respected attorney in his legal community and was recently an invited guest judge in the Southern Region’s National Negotiation Competition. Howard is an active member of several legal associations, including the American Association of Trial Lawyer, the American Bar Association, the American Association for Justice, and the Broward County Bar Association.

Since the beginning of 2007, Howard has recovered more than $100 Million for his injured clients via settlement or verdict.

Eric Pintaluga

Eric Pintaluga is a co-founding partner at the Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga. Eric is an ambitious attorney who is well known for his accessibility and personal involvement in every single case. Eric studied political science at University of Florida, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in 1998. While attending law school at University of Miami, Eric was a judicial clerk in the Miami Circuit Court and an intern at the Broward County Public Defenders Office. After law school, he briefly practiced Sports Law as an associate for a renowned sports agency called Athletes First. Since joining the Florida Bar Association in 2001, Eric has become very recognized in the legal community for successfully handling thousands of personal injury cases. He is a regular guest lawyer on the ‘Ask an Attorney Live’ call-in show, which broadcasts weekly on a local Spanish-speaking radio station. In addition, Eric is an active member of the Broward County Hispanic Bar Association and the American Association for Justice.

Kevin Sobel

Kevin Sobel grew up in South Florida and then completed his undergraduate and law degrees at the University of Florida. During law school, Kevin participated in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, providing free income tax filing assistance to students and underprivileged members of the Gainesville community. He was also awarded a Pro Bono Certificate while in law school to recognize his contributions of time and services to better the community and the legal profession. Kevin clerked for the Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga after his first year of law school, at which time he learned the great feeling that comes with aiding clients in their recovery and obtaining compensation for their suffering. In 2007, he returned as a full-time associate, where he focuses on “Bad Faith” Insurance and disputed liability claims. Kevin is also the of K&P’s Georgia offices.

Jensen Grant

Jensen Grant grew up in Tampa, Florida and completed his undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University’s Honors College in Jupiter, Florida. During his senior year there, he worked as an assistant at the Law Offices of Kanner and Pintaluga, where he first became interested in fighting for the rights of injured clients. Law school took him to Washington, D.C., where he attended American University’s Washington College of Law (WCL). During law school, Jensen served as a student attorney in WCL’s General Practice Clinic, aiding underprivileged persons in the D.C. area in various areas of law. During his last two years, he also served as a staff member on the International Law Review. After graduating a semester early from law school, Jensen returned to South Florida and Kanner & Pintaluga in early 2009.

Dallas Robinson

Dallas Robinson grew up in South Florida and completed his undergraduate degree at Boston University where he was a member of BU’s Football team. He then came back to South Florida and obtained his law degree from the University of Miami. Dallas has extensive litigation and trial experience in the areas of wrongful death, trucking and motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and workers’ compensation. Dallas is  the of K&P’s litigation department.
